Are these the new Mizzou uniforms?

Simply moving to the SEC isn't enough for Missouri football. Much like when you get a new job, or you're going on a date with a new beau, you find some new clothes to wear. And that's exactly what Missouri seems to be doing.

The school plans on debuting some new jerseys on April 14th, but before it does anything official, it's teasing the fan base a bit. Missouri posted a video of former Missouri wide receiver and current Philadelphia Eagle Jeremy Maclin getting a look at the new jerseys. Well, one Mizzou fan went through the video frame by frame and took as many screengrabs as he could to try and piece things together.

Judging by one of the photos -- a photo that is intentionally left blurry by the school -- it seems that yellow jerseys are definitely in play for the Tigers next season, as well as a new helmet.

If all that isn't enough, how about some tiger stripes?

Again, while there's nothing here that gives a definitive look at what the jerseys are going to look like, if you look at all the different photos available in the video, you can get a pretty good idea of what Missouri will be wearing during its first season in the SEC.

I agree. Auburn should change their name from "Tigers" to "War Eagles". That would be a step in the right direction.

Ummm, you were taken lightly by Big 12 fans as well. And rightfully so. Arkansas might be the only school in the Country that has a more highly over valued since of self worth fan base than Missouri.

If you guys actually watch the video, it's pretty clear this is an alternate uniform and they still have more traditional white and black unis too.  Also, that helmet shown IS photoshopped, a guy created that because he believes that's what the helmet must look like to get the blurry image above it.

Knute, I don't see your point about raising the level of play. SEC fans are under this impression that Mizzou has been some doormat in the big 12. I know the SEC is a harder league but the Big 12 is definitly 2nd. Mizzou has won more games in the last 5 years than almost everyone in the SEC. Im pretty sure Alabama and maybe LSU are the only schools that have won as many games (Please forgive me if I left your team off, the point is only 5-10 schools have won as much as Mizzou has lately.)

This past year we won 8 games and really struggled to begin the year. Our starting QB (Who is a beast I might add) really struggled at the beginning. We ended the year winning 5 of 6, including 2 wins over ranked teams. Ill admit our year was very average, but thats what happens when you break in a new QB. Other than the two years weve broken in new QBS, weve won 12, 10, and 10 games. We will definitly be a lot better next season. We will be undefeated coming into conference play and will see what happens.

We return basically everyone. The only ket players we lose are Egnew, Hamilton, Smith, and 2 OL. We added the number 1 player in the nation and our QB will be on of the 2 or 3 best in the conference.

Weve always been taken lightly by SEC fans, even before the move. Ole Miss fans thought for sure they would sweep us when we had that 1 and 1, we beat em both times. Soutch Carolina fans were celbrating when we played them in 05, only to be broken down by a furious come back. Were still waiting for Darren McFadden to get 300 yards on us from the 2007 cotton bowl, just didnt happen. Tony Temple just scored again actually. The point is, please under estimate us. Mizzou fans know we will have a very hard time when we play LSU and Bama, after that nobody intimidates us a shred.

Missouri has the wrong conference for uniforms like those. They belong in the Pac 12 or ACC. The SEC is the place for traditional uniforms. Auburn, for example, has had basically the same uniform since 1954. Ole Miss and L.S.U. have had he same duds since the mid-'50s, and Alabama has only made a change in helmet for a brief period. Tennessee is basically the same too, and the other newcomer, Texas A&M, has only changed the helmet from white to maroon since the '50s.

I like the traditional Missouri uniform with the black helmets, white and gold stripes, the black or white jersey, and the gold pants. Missouri should try to stop following the Oregon/Maryland pattern and stick with what is best.

There is still time Mizzou, nothing is official yet, so stick to tradition and avoid these horrid new threads.
