This is the 10 days you are off between Boot Camp and MCT/SOI.  Chalk one up for 5 guys beating up an 18 year old.  To the person talking about pigs(cops).  Cops just do not show up out of thin air.  If cops would have been there the arrests would have been made on the spot.  To the people saying Jefferson has to be better than the other 2 QB's.  Jefferson never outplayed Lee last year but Miles still gave him most of the snaps.  Go back and look at the games if you want to.  Like I said before if you kick someone while they are on the ground you are chicken s***.

NO.  As far as we know, this Marine could have been a cook, and they are not exactly killing machines. 

This is the down fall of America. Kids cant get into a fight anymore without having the HIPOCRITES That call themselves PIGS (COPS) come in and give out assault charges. And the Admin. or the coaches. Like you guys never been in a fight before. This crap is making america SOFT. this is why america is going down the drain. Bully this and bully that. Regardless of the outcome those players were morons. By the way what is the punishment for violating team rules...as in breaking curfew? Isnt that typically a game suspension? As for the comment about the ND poster and Michael Floyd... No one is saying what he did was not wrong; the difference at least for now, is that Residence Life and the court system decided his fate. That has yet to happen with the LSU players. For the objective LSU fans who posted good for you taking the integrity road instead of the asinine comment about LSU players beating up a Marine...Seriously? Can you be more redneck than that? To be fair I have not read or heard the players version of the incident. Suffice to say something went down or there would not be a need for medical attention and the fact these players broke curfew and got involved in a fight makes it more of a problem for LSU's Athletic Department. With all the NCAA investigations going on LSU better be sure and do the right thing. Dodging the punishment to allow those guys to play against Oregon smacks of Ohio State and the Sugar Bowl. No player should ever be above the law. I also agree we need to wait and see what law enforcement does about charges. If Jefferson is charged with second degree battery in my opinion, he needs to be kicked off the team. This is an opportunity for LSU to prove to the college football world that they are about more than college football; something Ohio State could have done and chose not to and it has cost them.

Les Miles is not stupid

1- he can't really decide Jefferson's guilt and he is letting the police do their job, therefore as he has since camp opened, Jefferson is running 1A, Lee 1B and Mettenberger 2.

THIS IS A FACT. 

2- he has instituted a "running" regimen for the players to gain their full attention.  Some players call it a little extra, other call it pretty tough, and others indicate "it will make us better."  Again Miles is dealing with a curfew issue that he knows they broke.

3-  he has always had a "no talk" rule about injuries.  Why let Oregon or anybody know what to prepare for.  Maybe the team knows who will start and who will not.  Maybe Miles "has a want" for Oregon to not know what to expect.

EVERY news report I have seen, heard or read gives the "4 injured people's side" but only 1 or 2 people saying something different.

I have a very reliable source telling me that several depostions have been taken "with a very different story and each one has indicated that the police have yet to follow up with these people to get their story."

why have the police taken names of witnesses, and stated "we'll get back to you for your statement" and then not done so???
